Jailbreak Update 24.03.24

New Features

* Player Customization:
* Player names will now be colored based on their team.
* Added custom name and chat colors (available to all DS members with the commands: !namecolor, !chatcolor).
  • Leadership Chat: Players can use the '%' prefix before a chat message to designate leadership-only communication.
  • Warden Powers:
* The warden will now be given the [WARDEN] prefix.
* The warden can now give out Special Treatment (!st).
* Other Additions: Added LastRequest feature.

Fixes

* Exploit Fixes:
* Fixed an exploit allowing players to use arbitrary chat colors.
* Fixed an exploit allowing players to spam the chat.
  • Consistent Spawns: Players will now more consistently get a knife on spawn.
  • Prisoner Behavior: Non-rebelling/ST prisoners will now turn blue when the warden dies. Once a new warden is assigned, prisoners will be turned back to normal color after 3 seconds.
  • Bug fixes and performance improvements.
  • Fixed no-clip not working.

Jailbreak Update 24.03.26

  • Fixed eGs not being able to revoke CT bans.
  • Increased map timelimit from 25 -> 30 minutes.
  • Added guard priority system, players will require 120 minutes of alive time before they can queue.
- When in the queue, players are sorted based off their priority, with a max priority of 8 hours (480 minutes).
- When there are too many CTs, the CT with the last priority will be swapped.
- A player already on CT will not be swapped even if a player with higher priority joins the queue.

  • Fixed map voting not working
  • CTs will now be teleported to Ts when they start an LR
  • LR time has been reduced to 1 minute, and 30 seconds will be given after each successful LR
  • Reduced minimum priority to join CT from 2 -> 1 hour

  • Increased warden paint line duration from 10 -> 30 seconds
  • Increased map time from 25 -> 30 minutes

  • Restricted throwable purchases to 1 per type, throwables can still be picked up from other dead players

Jailbreak Update 24.03.30

- Added mute system
- All players will be muted for an initial period when a warden is first assigned
- Guards will be unmuted after 10 seconds of all mutes
- Prisoners will be unmuted once the duration in chat is elapsed
- The warden can re-enforce a mute by doing !peace
- Admins can also force a peace
- Dead players will remain muted
  • Fixed map voting (again) (hopefully)
  • Fixed un-ctbanning
 
Jailbreak Update 24.03.31

  • Advertisements will now be randomized
  • Added more advertisements
  • Added Race Last Request
  • Fixed players not showing up in server browser player list
  • Added SILVER, GOLD, PLATINUM, and ROYAL DS tags respectively.
