Presenting the Roleplayers Showmatch - FOR CHARITY! EdgeGamers is partnering up with AaronOnAir, LANFEST and some of the most prominent Twitch names in roleplay to raise money for charity. Occuring on July 15, 2023, teams will face off in a best of three charity showmatch in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive to collect donations for two great charities in Brother Wolf Animal Rescue and Yale Cancer Center.

The team playing for Brother Wolf Animal Rescue is headed by team captain kioShiMa. Along side him will be a roster consisting of aleks, curvyelephant, Hotted89 and Timmac. Brother Wolf Animal Rescue is based out of Asheville North Carolina providing adoption and pet retention programs, low-cost spay and neuter clinic, and lifesaving shelter partnerships to impact the lives of thousands of animals in Western North Carolina each year.

On the other side, players will be playing for Yale Cancer Center headed by Silent. Filling out his roster you'll find uhSnow, Cosmic, nathankb_ and Mantis. The Yale Cancer Center is one of only 54 comprehensive centers in the United States designated by the National Cancer Institute. The center looks to provide the best approaches for prevention, detection, diagnosis and treatment for cancer.

Both teams will compete in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive best of three format. The winning team will see funds raised donated to the charity they are representing. While individual streamers may be showing their personal pov through their Twitch channel, you will find the official broadcast over on the LANFEST Twitch channel @ twitch.tv/lanfest.
