But where is our Dust2 server located? I am in Philadelphia with a very good internet connection, FiOs [15/3], and I get about 40-60 ping.

I'm guessing Texas, but anyway, the other question I wanted to ask...


Is it completely out of the question to get the people who normally have 150+ ping kicked? A ping limit I'm asking, I have forgotten to disable uTorrent while I'm downloading, and have come in with 900 ping, and not kicked.

no there will never be a ping limit instated because we have members from all around the globe and some of them will never have less then 150 ping and yes its based in texas

we will only have servers located in central areas because again we have members all across the globe

Other peoples high ping cannot affect your own ping, its impossible. The only thing is that they may be harder to hit, but they also have that same disadvantage.

Also, we have a lot of non-american players with pings of 100+ that can play fine, so a high ping quesiton would be out of the question
