Bart has been working hard on the code underlying the battles to substantially improve performance. We have done some private testing and things look to be holding up very well. We now want to have a public test of the new coding.
What does this mean?
Next Monday 30th of June at 19:00 GMT (13:00 CST) we will be holding a battle. This battle will be open to all and we encourage everyone to join in.
Will this be a normal battle?
Not quite. We want to be sure everything runs perfectly before clans put their plinks on the line for real, so this is going to be a ‘Fun’ battle lasting only one day. The following rules will apply:
- The winners will win 500,000 plinks, second place 200,000 and third 100,000.
- All clans participating and spending 25,000 or more plinks will get a bonus of 25,000 plinks.
- No stats will be recorded for the battle.
- Troop movement speeds and deployment times will be reduced to speed things up.
- All plinks spent in this battle will be fully refunded at the end of the battle.
- Map to be used will be Europe and winning will require occupying 35%+ of the map. The battle window will stay open until someone wins (or up to a maximum of 3 hours).
