Stuck on black loading screen

Description of the bug.
After I select my character, I get stuck on a black loading screen and have to do F8 > Quit

What should be happening instead?
I should be loading in.

Describe how to replicate the bug.
this doesn't happen all the time but sometimes after you select your character its a black screen

This bug report has been moved to the Tech Teams issue center, They will coordinate the issue from there. Look for a fix coming to this in the coming future!
